Technical Project Manager

Grid Dynamics is a leading provider of technology consulting and advanced analytics services. They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage Responsible AI initiatives, ensuring cross-functional engagement and effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary coordination point across research, engineering, product, policy, and annotation operations teams for safety language evaluation efforts; Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across work streams and markets; Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations and progress updates to stakeholders at all levels, including engineering leads, product managers, and executive leadership; Translate technical evaluation work into accessible narratives that convey impact and progress; Build and maintain strong working relationships with native-speaking annotators, language specialists, and localization partners; Ensure their input and expertise are systematically integrated into evaluation planning, execution, and reporting workflows; Serve as an advocate for language team needs within broader program discussions; Design and maintain portfolio-level tracking systems that provide visibility into evaluation status, coverage, risks, and milestones across all target languages and markets; Ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate information to support decision-making; Identify and implement process improvements that streamline coordination, reduce communication overhead, and enable the team to scale evaluation capabilities to new languages and markets more efficiently; Maintain comprehensive documentation of program status, decisions, processes, and cross-functional agreements; Ensure institutional knowledge is captured and accessible to support team continuity and onboarding Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in technical program management, or cross-functional coordination role within a technology organization; Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical programs clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including engineering, research, operations, and leadership stakeholders; Strong experience building and maintaining working relationships with globally distributed teams, including non-engineering partners such as annotators, linguists, or language service providers; Comfortable developing and delivering presentations, executive summaries, and progress reports across multiple media formats; Experience designing and maintaining program tracking systems, dashboards, or portfolio visibility tools; Able to work independently to drive alignment and outcomes across multiple teams and work streams, with minimal direction; Organized, highly attentive to detail, and manages time well; Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; Experience working in industry; Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in a technical, organizational, or communication-related field Required Skills: Technical Program Management, Cross-Functional Coordination, Program Tracking Systems, Dashboard Design, Portfolio Visibility Tools, Presentation Development, Responsible AI, AI Safety, Natural Language Processing, Localization, Annotation Operations, Project Management Tools, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Interpersonal Skills, Facilitation, Organizational Skills, Attention to Detail
