Software Engineer

Haystack is a global services firm with over 40 years of excellence in uniting talent and technology. They are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Lawson applications, while creating new applications and maintaining interfaces between Lawson modules and external systems. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Lawson applications using various tools; Create new applications, reports, and customizations with RPG, COBOL, SQL, and LID; Debug technical issues within Lawson applications and provide functional support; Create and maintain interfaces between Lawson modules and external systems; Automate business tasks and workflows through Lawson Process Flows or other programming; Analyze user needs, translate Qualifications: Expertise in Lawson (LID), RPG, COBOL, CL, and IBM i/AS400 development; Experience with Infor Lawson tools including LID, Process Flow/IPA, and Lawson Portal; Familiarity with Lawson database structures and product-line tables; Strong SQL skills for data extraction, reporting, and query optimization; Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications; Proficiency in SDLC, version control, and change management practices Required Skills: Lawson (LID), RPG, COBOL, CL programming, IBM i/AS400 development, Infor Lawson tools, Process Flow/IPA, Lawson Portal, Lawson database structures, SQL, SDLC, Version control, Change management, Analyze business requirements, Translate them into technical specifications
