Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) that is growing rapidly. They are seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their IT team, responsible for creating and maintaining test automation code and ensuring software solutions are implemented correctly. Responsibilities: Create new and maintain existing test automation code with a high degree of quality; Promote best practices in code health, testability, and maintainability; Work with members of the development and validation teams to determine the best areas of the applicaton to automate; Implement automation regression suites; Perform exploratory testing when needed; and; Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; Experience in automation testing and/or software development; Experience with black and white box testing; Experience with automation platforms like Selenium or Cypress; Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript; Experience in testing web applications and APIs; Strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills Required Skills: Automation testing, Selenium, Java, Python, JavaScript, Web application testing, API testing, Analytical skills
