Software Development Engineer , AWS Intent Driven Networking (AIDN)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. They are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to deliver high quality, extensible design and code while mentoring junior engineers and optimizing performance, scalability, and efficiency in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Deliver high quality, extensible design and code; Mentor and guide junior engineers; Manage competing priorities and bring order to ambiguous scenarios; Identify and implement optimizations for performance, scalability, and efficiency Qualifications: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience; 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience; 3+ years of Object Oriented Design experience; 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience; Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; Experience programming with at least one software programming language Required Skills: Software Development, Software Design, Software Architecture, Object Oriented Design, Distributed Systems, Multi-threaded Software, Embedded Software, C#, C++, Java, Perl, Software Development Life Cycle, Analytical Thinking, Judgment
