Senior Software Engineer in Test - Mobile

PayPal has been revolutionizing commerce globally for more than 25 years. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test - Mobile to deliver complete solutions across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, advise management on project-level issues, and guide junior engineers in their work. Responsibilities: Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles; Advises immediate management on project-level issues; Guides junior engineers; Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices; Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions; Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications; Build and optimize mobile testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines; Perform functional, regression, and performance testing using automation tools; Identify, analyze, and report bugs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and best practices Qualifications: 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience; Proven experience in mobile app automation for Android and iOS platforms; Proficiency in testing frameworks like Appium, Espresso, and XCTest; Strong programming skills in Python, NodeJS, Kotlin, or Swift; Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar; Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Required Skills: Mobile app automation, Android, IOS, Appium, Espresso, XCTest, Python, NodeJS, Kotlin, Swift, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
