Senior Java Developer (AI Augmented)

Accion Labs is seeking a senior engineer with deep experience in building AI agents leveraging AWS or GCP platforms. The ideal candidate will focus on architecting, building, and deploying intelligent agents that can reason, plan, and interact with systems and users in production-grade environments. Responsibilities: Proven experience with enterprise-scale application development; Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems; Hands-on experience with Kafka, AWS SQS, and/or IBM MQ; Experience using Agentic IDEs like Claude Code or Cursor for leveraging AI for enterprise application development; Solid understanding of AI agents, LLMs, and tools such as ChatGPT; Proficiency in Python or another major programming language for AI integration is a plus; Familiarity with AWS cloud services and building cloud native applications; Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes); Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications in production; Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Qualifications: 3 to 7 years of professional experience in Java development (senior-level Required Skills: Java, Enterprise-scale application development, Microservices architecture, Event-driven systems, Kafka, AWS SQS, IBM MQ, Agentic IDEs, AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, AWS cloud services, Cloud native applications, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
