QA Engineer (India)

VectorShift is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of their software products through meticulous manual testing. The role involves creating test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and product managers to maintain high standards of software quality. Responsibilities: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing; Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla); Basic knowledge of software development processes; Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills to articulate defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Required Skills: Software testing methodologies, Bug-tracking tools, Software development processes, Testing web/mobile applications, Basic scripting/automation tools, SQL for database testing
