Job Description
SHI International Corp. is a $16 billion global provider of IT solutions and services. The Project Manager II is responsible for leading cross-functional projects that deliver technology solutions and services for customers in the IT reseller channel, managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure, cloud, and services projects for commercial and enterprise customers; Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, milestones, resource plans, dependencies, and risk/issue logs; Facilitate regular project meetings, document decisions and action items, and ensure follow‑through from all stakeholders; Coordinate with sales, solutions architects, engineering, operations, and vendor partners to confirm
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience managing technology or IT services projects, preferably in a reseller, MSP, VAR, or systems integrator environment; Proven ability to own small to mid‑sized projects independently, from initiation through closeout; Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, hybrid; familiarity with agile concepts is beneficial); Demonstrated skill in building project schedules, managing dependencies, and adjusting plans based on changing priorities; Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar; plus Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams/Zoom); Experience working with cross‑functional teams that include sales, engineering, operations, and external vendors or partners; Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear business language; Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including comfort working with budgets, timelines, and basic financial metrics; Professional project management certification (PMP) required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience; Ongoing professional development in project management, technology, or leadership is valued and supported
