Platform Engineer

CloudOne Digital is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, support, and evolve complex technical solutions for customer-facing products and internal systems. The role emphasizes stability, scalability, and innovation, requiring the engineer to act as a technical problem-solver and solution designer while collaborating across teams. Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues, delivering timely and accurate solutions in a collaborative environment; Design, implement, and support engineered solutions, platform services, and mission-critical systems; Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to design solutions that meet functional, technical, and operational Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or platform-focused roles; Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience; Advanced experience administering and supporting server operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS, or a combination); Strong background in identity management, directory services, and authentication systems; Experience supporting database platforms and high-availability or fault-tolerant architectures; Proficiency in scripting and automation for systems management (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar); Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, operating systems, and infrastructure layers; Experience with issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira or equivalent); Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar); Previous experience with large scale virtualization platforms (VMware, Openstack, Nutanix, etc.); Proven ability to balance customer needs with operational stability and best practices; Ability to work independently on project-based work while collaborating effectively across teams; Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly Required Skills: Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Server Operating Systems, Linux, Windows, MacOS, Identity Management, Directory Services, Authentication Systems, Database Platforms, High-Availability Architectures, Fault-Tolerant Architectures, Scripting, PowerShell, Bash, Python, Automation, Troubleshooting, Issue Tracking Tools, Project Management Tools, Jira, Version Control Systems, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Virtualization Platforms, VMware, OpenStack, Nutanix
